Village Disolution Study

The Village has contracted with the Center for Governmental Research to do a Study on Dissolution and Alternatives to Dissolution. This effort is being made to find solutions to the ever-growing cost to operate the municipality. This initiative is being funded through a secured grant.

A website has been developed for residents to follow the project and to interract with CGR and the steering committee.

The study has reached an imp.ortant milestone. All citizens should read the prepared documentation to be properly informed to make a decision on the final outcome.

UPDATE: The study is complete and available for viewing on the disolution website. The Village Board has elected not to put disolution up for a referendum vote to the Village citizens at this time.
